2007 Cal Football Season Alumni Ticket Program
The Boalt Hall Alumni Association is delighted to once again offer special group rate reserved seat tickets for four 2007 Cal Football home games. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Boalt is all about new as we kick off the 2008 academic year! New students—269 JD 1Ls, as well as 34 transfer students, and 84 LLMs. And new faculty—Dean Edley has announced 6 permanent appointments along with many lecturers and visiting faculty. And even some new—or at least thoroughly and beautifully renovated—classrooms.

See your friends and catch up with faculty at Boalt's annual homecoming. Earn MCLE credit at classes without quizzes, slake your thirst with a lunch-time beer and wine tasting, take a tour of the law school, and enjoy dinner and dancing under the stars. Reunion activities are planned for years ending in 2s and 7s. Recent graduates (2002-2007) and those working in public interest/service are offered a 20% discount. Register online now!

Welcome (and Welcome Back!)
At the August 29 Welcome-back prandium, Dean Edley announced six new permanent faculty members. Three will start immediately: Amy Kapczynski (not pictured), Sarah Song, David Gamage. (pictured at right)

Chalkdust Memories
Does the picture on the left give you pangs of nostalgia? Probably not—while it’s definitely a Boalt classroom, it’s one of the three large first-floor lecture halls that received a top-to-bottom renovation during a very industrious summer break.

This series features practitioners and other experts exploring issues at the intersection of law and business.
Spotlight on Leadership
This year's Partners in Leadership celebrated an outstandingly successful campaign at the 2007 Spotlight on Leadership event, a special reception for those law firms whose alumni reached 100% giving participation. Alumni representing 25 law firms returned to Boalt to hear from the Dean and mingle with students.
