Berkeley Law is one of the nation's premier law schools, and our academic demands are intense. But that's only part of our educational picture.
Berkeley Law students are bright, intellectually curious, and remarkably collegial, partly because our grading system encourages them to compete with themselves, not against one another. Our professors—even the most legendary—are approachable and accessible. Our alumni are active members of an extended family, engaging with the School by the thousands in any given year. And our administrators are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for everyone.
The Berkeley Law community is an experience not just for three years, but for life.
New Law Admissions Workshops Series (L.A.W.S.) AnnouncedThe Berkeley Law Admissions Office will participate in a new series of workshops this summer with other leading law schools from throughout the country. The seminars will be held in New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles. Admission will be free but participants must register and seats will be on a first-come basis. The seminars will focus on providing prospective applicants with information about legal education, the legal profession, and preparing for the process of applying to law school. Admissions Deans from participating schools will participate in a panel discussion followed by a question and answer session. After the panels, representatives from each of the participating schools will be available for additional information and discussion during a small format educational fair. A list of the participating schools, more details, and registration information are found here.
