Ergonomics focuses on designing workstations, tools, and job tasks for greater safety and efficiency, helping to reduce employee injuries resulting from such ergonomic hazards as repetitive motion. (Repetitive motion injuries include such injuries as back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendinitis.)
