Definitions
Email
All email services for Law School accounts. This includes webmail services, mailing lists, and sending and receiving email using various desktop clients such as Thunderbird and Outlook. If you are experiencing problems with email, and the status on this page says 'good', be sure to call our Help Desk at 643-6862.
Phones & Voicemail
The UniBears system, operated by central campus, provides voicemail and unified communications services to the University of California, Berkeley, campus. Any scheduled UniBears maintenance affecting the Boalt community will be noted above. Unibears voicemail problems can be reported to phones@law.berkeley.edu
Air Bears WiFi
Wireless internet access throughout the UC Berkeley campus. We will attempt to keep you informed of any issues that will affect access in Boalt Hall.
Web Server
The web server hosts our website, www.law.berkeley.edu. We will use this page to inform you of any planned maintenance outages.
File / Print Server
Identified as zeb.law.berkeley.edu, this system hosts our public network files, mapped on most people's desktops as Groups (G:), Apps (P: ), and Users (M:). This server also manages printing over the network.
Footprints
An email request management system, used by various units in the law school to manage and track incoming requests.
Networking / Internet Access
We will post notice here if there any other known disruptions to our local network, or anything affecting our ability to access the internet.
