The Faculty Support Unit (FSU) has as its mission to serve the normal secretarial needs generated by the teaching, research, and public service activities of faculty members in residence.
Faculty assistants generally perform the following duties:
- legal word processing
- editing
- legal research
- course material compilation and preparation
- scheduling
- exam administration and proctoring
FSU staff consists of more than twenty assistants, providing support to Boalt Hall faculty and the Earl Warren Legal Institute. The unit reports to the Director of Administration, and is managed by the FSU Supervisor and the FSU Work Group Leader.
