The deadline for 2012 fellowships will be February 23, 2012. Each campus has its own selection committee and procedure, so please follow the specific application guidelines for your campus.

Applications for the 2012 Human Rights Fellowship are due February 23, 2012 at 4pm to the Human Rights Center at 2850 Telegraph Ave., 3rd floor. Read two sample Statements of Purpose (Sample X and Sample Y) from previous fellows to assist with your application.

Please refer to the list of partner organizations with whom past human rights fellows have worked.

Occasionally potential partner organizations contact HRC with projects suitable for the Human Rights Fellowship. Students are expected to contact the organization directly to set the terms of the project. These proposals will receive the same consideration as all other Fellowship applications. Current opportunities include:

• Pro-Búsqueda - Study of Irregular Adoptions in El Salvador
• The Sexual Violence and Accountability Project - Safe Shelter and Community-Based Protections for Survivors of SGBV
• Anonymous Organization - Oil and Human Rights in Angola
