Welcome to the Career Development Office
Recruiting Services for Employers
The Career Development Office provides prospective employers with opportunities to meet, mentor and recruit Berkeley Law students. We also work extensively with our students and alumni to help them establish professional goals and find employment opportunities that match their long-term career objectives.
Our staff includes an Assistant Dean for Career Development and five attorney counselors who are able to draw on their own significant legal practice experience in developing career planning and recruitment strategies. We provide the following student and alumni services:
- Individual career counseling
- Informative programs and workshops
- Advice on effective job search strategies
- Resume and cover letter critique
- Mock interview programs and interview coaching
- Facilitate contact with Berkeley Law alumni or mentors
- Direct outreach and placement efforts on behalf of our students and alumni
How can we assist with your recruiting efforts::
- Coordinating On-Campus-Interviewing (OCI) each fall and spring.
- Consulting with firms and organizations on how to recruit effectively at Berkeley Law.
- Posting job opportunities on-line, which can be accessed exclusively by our students and alumni.
