Louise Francis is the Executive Director, International and Executive Legal Education, of UC Berkeley School of Law. She practiced as a commercial litigator in San Francisco for over 15 years and was a partner and managing partner of the international law firm, Heller Ehrman. Most recently she has worked as a professional development consultant and career coach for law firms, private practice attorneys, and law students. Louise clerked for U.S. District Court Judge D. Lowell Jensen after earning her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law. She received her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
Professor Andrew T. Guzman

Andrew Guzman is Professor of Law and Director of the Advanced Law degree Programs at UC Berkeley School of Law. Professor Guzman holds a J.D. and Ph.D. (economics) from Harvard University. He has written extensively on international trade, international regulatory matters, foreign direct investment and public international law, and served as editor on the recently published Handbook of International Economic Law (Elgar Publishers) and authored How International Law Works (Oxford University Press). Professor Guzman is a member of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration's Academic Council and is on the board of several academic journals. Professor Guzman has taught as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, the University of Chicago Law School, the University of Virginia Law School, Vanderbilt Law School, the University of Hamburg, and the National University Law School in Bangalore, India.
Susan Whitman, J.D.

Susan Whitman has been the Assistant Dean, Academic Planning and Coordination of UC Berkeley School of Law since 2008. For eight years before coming to UC Berkeley, she served as an Associate Probate Court Judge in Austin, Texas. Susan created the Elderlaw Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law, and was the Director and Supervising Attorney of that Clinic, which included teaching the Elderlaw Seminar, from 1985-2000. She practiced litigation in the Washington D.C. area after receiving her J.D. from University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. from University of Pennsylvania.
