Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarship Awards
CHCI awards scholarships to Latino students who have a history of performing public and/or community service activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply. Applications are available online.

Esperanza Scholarship Fund
Applicant must be an Ohio resident and have at least one parent who is fully Hispanic. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and is requied to participate in an interview with Esperanza's Scholarship Selection Committee if selected as a semi-finalist.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - College Scholarship Program
Applicants must be full-time students with a GPA of 2.7 or above, be either a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident, and be of Hispanic heritage (one parent fully Hispanic or each parent half Hispanic). Applications are evaluated on academic achievement, personal statement and financial need.

La Raza Lawyers Association of Santa Clara County
La Raza Lawyers Association of Santa Clara County provides scholarships to encourage and advance the social, cultural, economic and legal equality of minorities. The scholarships are available to La Raza students who (1) are from the Bay Area; or (2) attend Santa Clara University, Lincoln, UC Berkeley, USF, UC Hastings, Stanford, Golden Gate University, UC Davis, or McGeorge Schools of Law. In addition, the Association will consider activities such as, but not limited to, community involvement, peer counseling, school activities and financial need.

LULAC National Educational Service Center Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). Applicants must be Hispanic students. Awards are given to all fields of study and are based on merit, achievement, honors and need. Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)
Open to full-time law students of Hispanic descent accepted to or enrolled in an accredited law school. Applicants must show a commitment to serving the Latino community after graduation and demonstrate financial need and academic achievement.

Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Educational Fund
The fund offers awards from two scholarship endowments:
1. The Father Joseph P. Fitzpatrick Scholarship Fund
All Latino students attending a U.S. law school are eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic promise as well as a commitment to the Latino community. (This scholarship may not be available this year.)
2. Puerto Rican Bar Association Scholarship Award
All Latino students attending law school in the U.S. are eligible to apply. Applicants must be 1L or 2L students in a JD program at an ABA approved law school (no LLM students). PRBA selects recipients based on financial need and academic promise.

Wally Davis Memorial Legal Scholarship Fund/Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF)
HEEF is interested in students who demonstrate a commitment to serving their communities with a social conscience. Priority is given to applicants from California's Orange County who are of Latino origin and demonstrate involvement in the Latino community and school. The Wally Davis Memorial Legal Scholarship is awarded annually to law students.

La Raza lawyers Association-Central Valley Chapter Scholarships
Since 1980 the La Raza Lawyers Association’s Central Valley Chapter, has awarded scholarships to deserving law students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership qualities, and involvement in the Latino community, financial need, and ties to California’s Central Valley. Since 1991 their scholarship fund has been dedicated to the memory of the late Superior Court Judge Mario G Olmos, a Fresno county jurist and respected community leader who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1990 at the age of 43. Judge Olmos epitomized the ideals of honor, courage, leadership, and the public service through his achievements as a student, volunteer, lawyer and judge.
Futhermore, LRLA will be awarding two additional Scholarships in the memory of long time civic activist Albert Ramirez and Michael McConnaughey.
Boalt Hall does not administer these scholarships.
