Human Resources
We support the goals and challenges of the law school by providing services which promote a work environment that is characterized by fair treatment, open communication, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect. We are committed to meeting Boalt Hall's needs by providing the highest level of responsive and confidential service possible, serving as a source of information and expertise. Through these efforts we seek to enable and inspire all employees to achieve their full potential.
Business Services
The Law School is a centralized business environment in which all financial transactions are processed on behalf of faculty, staff and students by Business Services, located in Suite 309 at 2440 Bancroft Way. We partner with campus subject experts, such as Procurement Services, the Business Contracts Office, Travel Services, the Payroll Office, and the Disbursements Office.
Information Systems & Technology
The Information Systems & Technology department provides computing support for students, faculty and staff of the Boalt Hall School of Law. We also provide support for telephone/voice systems.
Facilities Services
Facilities Services is Boalt's team approach to all issues related to maintenance, safety, media equipment, and access to the buildings that comprise the School of Law complex (Boalt Hall, Simon Hall, North Addition).
Communications
The Office of Communications provides a diverse suite of services to advance the goals of the school, its central functions, and affiliates. Our work falls into four broad categories: publications; media relations; electronic communications, including editorial management of the Web site; and oversight of our identity standards and resources.
Room Reservations
Non-class related use of rooms for events.
Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall) rooms and facilities that are not scheduled for use by classes or class related activities are available by reservation for meetings and other events on a first come, first served basis. Only individuals or groups deemed by the School to be consistent with the research and educational mission of the School may rent or use Boalt Hall facilities. Facilities must be used in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including ADA regulations, as well as in accordance with University policies and procedures.
