School of Law Overtime Policy

Depending on the terms of the applicable personnel policy or bargaining agreement, eligible employees may have an opportunity to choose whether or not they wish to accrue compensatory time or be paid for overtime worked.  For more information about electing compensatory time off, check the following links or contact the Law School HR unit.

University policy requires that overtime/comp time be approved in advance of its use. The School of Law requires supervisors to complete an "Authorization to Work Overtime/Comptime" form (available below) to provide prior approval for employees to work overtime.
