Professional LL.M. Certificate in Law and Technology (IP)

The Certificate in Law and Technology allows LL.M. students to receive recognition for successful completion of a course of study which focuses on IP law.

Students who meet the following requirements will be awarded an LL.M. Certificate of Specialization in Law and Technology from the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology upon graduation.

  1. Completion of the foundational Intellectual Property course;
  2. Completion of three additional Law and Technology courses; and
  3. Completion of a research paper on a Law and Technology topic. Papers must be submitted to BCLT by the end of the third quarter.
