External Sources of Summer Funding

A variety of funders external to the law school sponsor summer grants and fellowships. In order to maximize the amount of summer funds available through Berkeley Law affiliated sources, students must seek such external funding.

Berkeley Law Affliated Sources of Summer Funding

There are a number of Berkeley Law affiliated sources of summer funding. These sources are best utilized in conjunction with one another, as well as with external funding sources.

Federal Work-Study Program.

Several Berkeley Law student organizations award Summer Public Interest Fellowships, including, among others, the Berkeley Law Foundation, the Queer Caucus, the Womens Association, the Ecology Law Quarterly, and boalt.org. (contact info).
